This thing comes apart pretty easily:
In general it looks like a good build. The housing has a bearing at the top and bushing at the bottom. The screws that hold the base plate to the housing had stripped heads and a few screws weren't quite tight. The vacuum advance isn't adjustable, so that's being replaced.
The magnet can is pretty tight, with maybe 1 degree of movement. The advance mechanisms all seem tight. There's an interesting setup between the fixed and the movable base plates, with grooves in the plastic where they meet. To me, it looks like it's meant to be geased, but it was dry. I'll probably put a little lithium on there when it goes back together.
