Current Status

Since I started the website well after starting the project, here's where I am today. And hopefully I'll just update regularly from here on out.

Car: Completely disassembled. It's the frame, body, suspension/wheels, rear parking brake cables, fuel lines and brake lines only. The front end looks pretty small with everything off!

Body: The windshield channels were badly rusted and pitted. As I sandblasted, more holes kept showing up and growing! There's a large hole on the driver's sail panel next to the rear windshield. I'll leave that for a body shop. The firewall has a quick etch primer on it to protect it. Still need to finish stripping the cowl, smooth the windshield channels with epoxy, close up unused holes on the firewall, and install a floor pan patch.

Engine: I am the proud owner of two 403 blocks. There's a story there. Right now I have most of the bits - block, crank, rods, heads and intake. Need to receive a few more parts, then get the big stuff to a shop to check out and start machining. I'll end up with almost enough stuff to build a second engine.
