Carb Digression

Not a whole lot going on. Our furnace died, so that's been taking a lot of my attention.

I did find a 7042252 carb on ebay. Same basic carb, just calibrated for big blocks. It was in pretty poor shape and missing at least half its parts. Here's the before:

Cleaned up nice! That took a couple of dunks in the Chem Dip plus lots of sand blasting as well as pulling a lot of parts from my spare piles. And folks wonder why I have 10 parts carbs! :)

This one looks to seal well. I'll probably play with it as a stock baseline just to see how the engine reacts.
