It works!

It actually, finally, works!

Shaun helped with the last push to get everything assembled. The carpet is in and nicely trimmed, got the kickpanels and A pillar trim painted.

A set of Rushforth Salt Shaker wheels are on order - should get here in late Oct. The driver seat is still expected in early Oct.

Working on a new gauge cluster that is smaller and still noodling what to do for cup holders.

But, it's a complete car! I even took it on a grocery run. Of course when I parked at the store my interior door handle fell off and the power locks didn't work. Several of the crimps in the power connection for the lock system were falling apart and the handle clip just wasn't grabbing. Easy fixes.

The outside driver door is cracking around the Kindigit handle and there's a slight bulge in the C pillar where a hole was patched which is causing the rear trim to not fit. So it'll need to go back to the body shop for some fixes.

I have one of my spare black consoles in there now, and the shifter doesn't quite line up. Prevents the 1-2 gate working correctly and the top plate doesn't fit. I moved it as much as the brackets allow, so I'll have to move the brackets. Hm.

But now I'm getting real insurance for it and can hopefully just enjoy it for a while.
